The one in which I start from the beginning

My very own blog for photography! So let's get down to tacks here. I'm a canon nut, and I've only had my xT since October of 2006. (That's my way of excusing myself for any drib or drab that may be coming at any time in the future.) I'm trying ever so hard to keep this from turning into a personal ad, but I do so like long walks on the beach, good food and a good laugh. I already enjoy those things with my boyfriend, so that should do it for killing the personal ad feeling. I've never been formally educated with a camera. In some shots, that will be more than evident, I'm certain. I tend to shoot things in nature and I tend to avoid portraits and most especially, self portraits.

I enjoy constructive criticism and pointers, since at this point it is the only thing that will teach me about photography.

I'm not as good with words as of late, so I'll just stop now and let the moonrise speak for me for today.
